How OS-BOOKS protects Google user data and meets Limited Use requirements

OS-BOOKS is committed to protecting user data and complying with all applicable privacy regulations and platform policies. As an accounting and business management platform, we integrate with Google services only when users explicitly choose to connect their accounts.

We are transparent about how Google user data is collected, used, stored, and deleted. This page describes our practices in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, for review by users and Google OAuth verification teams.

OS-BOOKS use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How Google User Data Is Used

  • Google user data is used solely to provide Gmail integration functionality requested by users.
  • Users can send invoices and business documents through their own Gmail accounts.
  • Google user data is not used for any unrelated purpose.

What We Do Not Do With Google User Data

  • We do not sell Google user data.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising.
  • We do not share Google user data with third parties except as required to provide the requested service.
  • We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
  • We do not use Google user data for profiling or marketing.

AI Services Disclosure

  • OS-BOOKS uses Groq as a third-party AI provider for invoice data extraction.
  • This functionality is triggered only when users voluntarily upload invoices for processing.
  • Google user data obtained through Google APIs is never shared with Groq.
  • Groq does not receive Gmail content, Google account information, OAuth tokens, or any Google user data.
  • Google user data is never used for AI training.

User Control and Data Deletion

  • Users may disconnect their Google account at any time.
  • Users may revoke access from their Google Account security settings.
  • Users may request deletion of Google-related data by contacting info@os-books.com.
  • OAuth tokens and associated Google account information are deleted according to our Privacy Policy.
